JOB DESCRIPTION Summary/Objective Responsible for consulting to and processing for school client accounts. Knowledge of the Federal Student Aid Regulations and procedures to process Title IV funds strongly preferred including Cash management, packaging, disbursing and student eligibility. Essential Functions
  • Reconcile Federal Bank Statement for Federal Pell Grant Program and Federal Direct Student Loan Program
  • Audit Student Disbursement reports.
  • Reconcile G5 Payment System Reports
Utilize FAS Student File Direct Software system to:
  • Upload incoming and outgoing reconciliations.
  • Communicate discrepancies to clients.
  • Follow up to obtain unsubmitted bank statements.
Supervisory Responsibility
  • Lead team in timely accurate processing of reconciliations.
  • Consulting with Clients regarding best practices in Cash Management in Title IV
  • Ensure Compliance by reviewing processes and staying abreast of regulatory changes.
  • Train and oversee all new employees and interns on processes.
  • Report to Managing Director on progress and challenges.
Work Environment -IN OFFICE Full Time This job operates in a professional office environment where culture is important. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 30 pounds. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a nonexempt full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 8:00am to 4:30pm, or 8:30am-5:00pm.

Full Job Description:

Daily duties and responsibilities include the following:

Provide superior customer service / support customers on a variety of issues. Identify, research and resolve technical problems such as connection issues and DB errors, password challenges. Respond to telephone calls and email requests for technical support. Document, track and monitor the problem to ensure a timely resolution. Candidate will recognize and escalate larger network issues to supervisor. Duties may crossover to analyzing software requirements and sharing ideas on how to improve or update software.

Job Requirements:

Ideal candidates will possess the following core competencies:

Strong verbal and written communication skills, multitasking capability, self-starter, customer oriented team player, great personable personality, past experience and patience with people. Must have strong documentation skills and notetaking. Must be able to exercise professionalism and calm approach in challenging situations when client is frustrated.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)
  • Help desk: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Windows: 1 year (Preferred)
  • US work authorization (Preferred)

Must be able to work proficiently with:

  • Operating Systems: Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server
  • TCP/IP
  • LAN/WAN
  • File Sharing
  • Client/Server software

Preferred but not required:

  • Database experience
  • DHCP
  • DNS
  • ODBC
