Are you ready to attend our May the Fourth Be With You Spring Seminar? Stay up to date on session changes, last calls, raffles, photo booths and more with our new phone app! We will be using an online platform called Whova for our event. You can download the Whova app to access the event!
How to Download:
- Go to your app store today and search the Whova App to download!
- After downloading, use your email address to sign up on Whova’s mobile app or web portal. Make sure you choose a strong new password! (You can also sign up using a social media account)
- Follow prompts on your screen, you can set up your profile or skip through this process.
- Once you have signed up, you should be taken directly to our event! If you aren’t directly added to our event and are asked for an event invitation code type in this code: FASGen2023
- Find additional information about our seminar and on how to download the app, through this website. Navigate to LOGISTICS for specific directions regarding app download!
Benefits of having the Whova App:
- View the event agenda and plan your personal schedule.
- Access to documents and slides shared by organizers or speakers.
- Find who else is attending this event and reach out to people ahead of time.
- Plan some social activities such as a morning run, coffee hours, or meet-ups with your fellow attendees. You can even post job openings!
- Receive updates such as last-minute session changes from the organizers.
How to use/features the app includes:
Digital Note Taking: Forget about bringing a notebook! Tap your profile icon, and open “My Notes.” You can record all the notes you want here instead of carrying notebooks around.
Session Q&A: Don’t have time to ask a question in the middle of the session? Or perhaps you don’t want to say your question out loud? Communicate with speakers in their session directly here in the app!
Take Photos: Take photos of your best Jedi gear and add them to the app! We’ll show it off on our social wall!
Download a copy of Every Presentation: Access everything right from the app, right away! Follow along during the session!
